About Jodi Bair - Experienced in Public Utilities Law
Jodi Bair is a Columbus, Ohio-based attorney with experience representing government entities and consumers in complex cases before the Ohio Supreme Court, federal district courts, and federal agencies. She has nearly three decades of experience cultivating and maintaining relationships in the energy industry and is versed in contract writing, negotiation, and personnel management. Jodi Bair most recently served five years as the principal assistant attorney general for the Public Utilities Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office in Columbus.
Ms. Bair has prior experience with the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC) and Public Utilities Commission (PUC). She represented residential utility consumers in cases before the PUC and other agencies for four years with the OCC and spent a decade with PUC, including six years as director. She spent the first decade of her career in the Ohio Attorney General's Office in Columbus, where she was primarily responsible for reviewing pleadings and writing briefs for utility rate cases.
Complementing her experience, Jodi Bair holds a juris doctor from the St. Thomas University School of Law and a bachelor of arts in sociology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the Ohio and Florida Bar Associations, the US Southeastern and Northern Federal District Bars, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Bar.
